The All Progressive Congress (APC) won 20 of the 24 House of Representatives seats in Lagos while Labour Party (LP) clinched three and the Peoples Democractic Party (PDP) won one in the recently concluded February 25, 2023 National Assembly elections.

Dr Wale Ahmed is a medical practitioner born in Agege, Lagos, on 3rd May 1965.
