Former Governor of Ogun State and Senator representing the Ogun East Senatorial District has commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu for the ongoing repairs on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
Senator Daniel while speaking to a group of journalists during a media retreat in Lagos on Saturday said his administration copied a lot of development initiatives when he was Governor of Ogun State from the Lagos administration under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, the initiative to repair one of the most important arterial roads in the Nigeria commercial capital signposts the creative leadership of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu.
“As someone who had lived the most part of my life in Lagos, I could recognize a working government when I see one. Lagos is the flagship of development and a model for our National psyche, especially because it has benefitted from continuous visionary leadership, deliberate careful planning since 1999.
“The Lekki-Epe Expressway road repair is a continuation of conscious leadership with a focus on good governance on established principles in continuity”
Daniel also expressed delight at the introduction of environmental sanitation day which he described as another loud initiative and testament to the good works of Governor Sanwoolu and his team in the environment ministry.
