Renowned Fuji musician, Shanko Rasheed Atanda, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his first son, Jamaldeen Atanda.
The devastated artiste announced the tragic news on his Instagram page on Friday, expressing deep sorrow over the painful loss.
In an emotional tribute, Shanko described the death of a child as a heartbreaking ordeal no parent ever prays to endure. He offered prayers for his son’s peaceful rest, submitting to the will of God despite the overwhelming grief.
“So sad, no parent prays to lose a child in their lifetime but Alhamdulilahi. Jamaldeen Emrs Atanda JNR rest well my champ. I will surely tell you all about it when I see you again. Omo Ola sun reeee,” he wrote.
The Fuji star, however, did not disclose details surrounding the circumstances or date of Jamaldeen’s passing.
The tragedy comes barely weeks after the musician celebrated his son’s 12th birthday in December with a heartfelt message — a moment now etched in painful memory.
