Apapa Stakeholders Purchase APC Nomination Forms for Deputy Speaker Meranda, Endorse 4th Term Bid

Stakeholders in Apapa Constituency, alongside the Golden Alliance Team, have purchased the All Progressives Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, in a move to endorse her for a fourth term in office.

The endorsement came from a coalition of political stakeholders, party loyalists, associations, unions, family members, and supporters under the Apapa Project initiative, who described the deputy speaker as a committed representative of the constituency.

Speaking during the presentation, Chairman of the Golden Alliance Team, Prince Wale Ojora, said the decision to purchase the forms was based on Meranda’s loyalty to the APC and her contributions to the development of Apapa and surrounding communities.

Ojora noted that Meranda had consistently demonstrated commitment to grassroots development and had become a strong symbol of representation for the constituency. According to him, her achievements over the years justified another opportunity to serve in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

“In politics, one good term deserves another. Today, we are proud to publicly endorse our daughter, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, to represent Apapa Constituency once again at the Lagos State House of Assembly,” Ojora said.

He added that the stakeholders remained confident in her leadership style and developmental agenda, stressing that the constituency would continue to support her efforts toward improving the welfare of residents.

Responding to the endorsement, Meranda expressed gratitude to the various groups, party members, and stakeholders for their confidence in her leadership and for supporting her re-election bid.

The deputy speaker described the endorsement as a renewed call to service and pledged to continue working for the growth and development of Apapa Constituency.

“I am deeply honoured by the growing support and trust reposed in me by my people. This endorsement is a challenge for me to do even more for the constituency,” she said.

Meranda assured supporters that she would not betray the confidence placed in her, adding that she remained committed to the development of Apapa, the progress of Lagos State, and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

She also thanked those who contributed financially toward the purchase of her nomination forms, promising to continue delivering impactful representation in the Assembly.
