Ashmusy Opens Up on Freezing Her Eggs, Says She’s No Longer Pressured to Marry

Media personality and content creator Amarachi Amusi, popularly known as Ashmusy, has revealed that she is no longer under pressure to get married after deciding to freeze her eggs.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the Echo Room podcast, the influencer disclosed that she took the step to secure her chances of becoming a mother in the future.

According to Ashmusy, the decision has given her peace of mind and removed the anxiety many women face regarding marriage and childbirth.

The content creator admitted that she once considered marrying a man she knew was not the right partner for her because she was desperate to have children before turning 35.

She explained that societal pressure and concerns about the “biological clock” often push women into rushing marriages, sometimes leading to unhappy unions.

“I want to get married, but I am not desperate,” she said. “Just in case the right suitor doesn’t come, I am already safeguarded. I am already sure of being a mom by God’s grace.”

Ashmusy further revealed that freezing her eggs has allowed her to focus on finding the right partner instead of settling out of fear.

Reflecting on her past relationship, she said she nearly entered a marriage she was uncertain about simply because the man was ready to settle down while she felt pressured by age and fertility concerns.

The influencer added that with her eggs preserved, she now has the option of insemination within the next three to ten years if she does not meet the right partner.

She also shared her desire to have mixed-race children in the future.
