Awori Kingdom Celebrates New Era as Oba Bamgbade Commissions Royal Palace

The Awori Unity Committee has congratulated the Aafin Olofin Ogunfunminire, His Majesty Oba Engr. Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade Ayodele, EDUN ALAKA III, Adimula of Awori Kingdom, following the official unveiling of his royal palace in Isheri Mole, describing the event as a historic milestone for the Awori people.

The commissioning ceremony attracted traditional rulers, government officials, community leaders and members of the Awori community, who gathered to celebrate the opening of the palace, which was described as a symbol of unity, cultural heritage and progress within the kingdom.

Among the dignitaries present was the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, who represented the state government. Also in attendance were prominent traditional rulers, including the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, and the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland.

In a congratulatory message, the Awori Unity Committee commended Oba Bamgbade Ayodele for his commitment to preserving the cultural identity of the Awori people while promoting peace, unity and development across the kingdom.

The committee described the newly commissioned palace as more than a royal residence, saying it represents a lasting symbol of the history, culture and aspirations of the Awori people.

It also prayed for a peaceful and prosperous reign for the monarch, expressing confidence that his leadership would continue to drive development and strengthen traditional institutions in the kingdom.

The committee further noted that the palace stands as a beacon of hope for future generations and reflects the monarch’s dedication to fostering harmony among communities.

Reaffirming its commitment to the growth of Aworiland, the Awori Unity Committee pledged continued support for initiatives aimed at promoting cultural heritage, unity and socio-economic development, while expressing optimism that Oba Bamgbade Ayodele’s reign would leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
