Employees of billionaire business Mogul, Abdulsamad Rabiu alleged on Monday that he instructed security operatives to shoot and manhandle protesting staff of Bua Floor and Pasta. Employees from both arms of his company had besieged the Victoria Island headquarters, demanding their entitlements.
This round of protests, followed previous ones that held last week, which refused to find any lasting solution to the company’s woes.
SocietyGists learnt Abdulsamad Rabiu who is listed 23rd richest man in Africa is worth $1 billion according to the FORBES’ recent ranking of Africa’s 50 Richest People. His employees accused him of failing to ‘properly’ negotiate with them over their entitlements before the alleged sale of Bua Flour & Pasta to Olam Group.
