LAGOS, Nigeria — Award-winning comedian, actor and writer Bovi Ugboma will bring the curtain down on his highly successful 2026 world tour this October with two final performances in Benin City and Lagos.
The Nigerian leg of Bovi: Guilty as Charged opens in Benin City on 1 October before the grand finale on 11 October at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel, Lagos.
The homecoming follows a triumphant international run that began in the United Kingdom at Easter, where Bovi sold out Indigo at The O2. He then took the show across Canada, packing venues in six cities including Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton — every date sold out.
With the overseas leg complete, Guilty as Charged returns home for its final two shows. Benin City kicks off the Nigerian stretch, while Lagos provides the closing stage of Bovi’s 2026 tour.
Over nearly two decades, Bovi has built a reputation for sharp observations, fearless humour and the ability to turn everyday experiences into memorable stories. His live performances blend storytelling with pointed commentary on relationships, society, popular culture and daily life. Earlier productions such as Bovi: Man on Fire and Naughty by Nature cemented his status as one of Nigeria’s leading comedy voices, drawing audiences both at home and abroad.
The Lagos show will mark a first for Bovi: fully reserved seating. Every ticket buyer will select a specific seat at the time of purchase, ensuring a designated place across the entire venue.
