Celebrity Nigerian businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has unfollowed content creator Carter Efe on social media following a controversy involving a car he recently gifted him.
The development came on Saturday, just hours after Carter Efe damaged the new vehicle during an altercation with popular streamer Peller on TikTok Live.
SOCIETYGIST reports that E-Money had celebrated his birthday days earlier by gifting cars to several Nigerians, including Carter Efe and Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, widely known as Aki.
However, the celebratory gesture took a dramatic turn when Carter Efe’s car was reportedly damaged amid a heated exchange with Peller. A viral video circulating online shows the pair smashing each other’s windshields with stones during the live session.
The incident quickly sparked reactions across social media platforms, with many users criticising E-Money for presenting such an expensive gift to the controversial content creator.
Shortly after the video gained traction, E-Money appeared to distance himself from the unfolding drama by unfollowing Carter Efe, further fueling speculation about a fallout between the two.
