Nigerian businessman and singer Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has voiced his displeasure after a car he gifted to streamer Cater Efe was allegedly damaged during a livestream stunt involving fellow content creator Peller.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday, sparked reactions online after clips surfaced showing the car being mishandled during a live broadcast. E-Money addressed the issue on Sunday when the two streamers paid him a visit.

According to him, the vehicle was presented as a token of appreciation for Cater Efe’s creativity and contributions to the entertainment space.

However, he described the reported destruction of the car less than 24 hours later as disappointing.

“To be honest, I wasn’t happy about you guys destroying the car I gifted Cater Efe in less than 24 hours. I gave you the car because I appreciate what you’re doing,” he said in a clip from the livestream during the visit.

He added that while the act went “overboard,” especially considering the large audience watching, he had chosen to forgive them.

“The mistake has already been made. I forgive you. But it should not happen again,” E-Money cautioned.

The episode has since generated debate on social media about content creation limits and the responsibilities influencers bear before their audiences.
