Nollywood actress Omowunmi Dada has said that fame has brought positive changes to her life rather than taking anything away from her.

The actress explained that stardom has made her more conscious of how she interacts with people, encouraging her to show kindness regardless of an individual’s social status.

According to Dada, the awareness that many people look up to her has significantly influenced the way she relates with fans and the public.

She recalled instances where she had to put aside personal discomfort in order to respond warmly to admirers.

“There are times I have menstrual cramps and a fan sees me and tries so hard to greet me. Even when I’m not in a good mood because of the pain, I still try to attend to them with a smile,” she said.

Dada added that such situations remind her that fans may not always have another opportunity to meet their favourite celebrities.

“That person might not have the chance to see me again, so how I respond in that moment could determine the kind of impression they have about me,” she explained.

Despite the positive influence of fame on her character, the actress noted that it has also taught her the importance of setting personal boundaries.

“Fame has given me the awareness to be kind to people, but not to take nonsense from anyone,” she added.

Her remarks highlight the balance many public figures try to maintain between appreciating their supporters and protecting their personal well-being while living in the spotlight.
