An unpalatable allegation is currently trailing a former Director of Fidelity Bank Plc, Reginald Ihejiahi.
According to speculation making the round, Ihejiahi despite been married was allegedly romantically involved with a former Executive Director of Afribank, in person of Joke Giwa.
The allegation has it that Joke Giwa was in a relationship with the man while also dating a Public Relations Executive in Akonte Onimitemiarin Ekine.
The rumour further has it that trouble started when Joke Giwa, parted ways with Akonte Onimitemiarin Ekine due to an alleged office romance with a lady identified as Ronke Fasalojo.
As the mainstay of Absolute PR Joke Giwa’s withdrawal from the business saw things falling apart for the company.
To save his business and pay his one time girlfriend in her coin Akonte Onimitemiarin Ekine having first applied for a loan from Fidelity Bank Plc and refused resorted to blackmail.
To save himself from the embarrassments such dalliance comes with Ihejiahi quickly ordered his Corporate Affairs Department to seek out Akonte Onimitemiarin Ekine and sort him.
The settlement was a handsome one as it is been speculated Akonte Onimitemiarin Ekine was given a 15 million naira loan without an option of repayment, a loan tagged a gift from the MD.
