From Pain to Possibility: Major Free Medical Mission Set for Redeemer’s Health Village, Mowe

Families across Ogun State who struggle to afford medical treatment will receive a significant boost this October as the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), in partnership with Sharing Hope Medical Mission (USA), Sharing Hope and Care Foundation and Redeemer’s Health Village, launches a major 14-day free medical outreach.

The humanitarian mission runs from October 9 to 24, 2026, at Redeemer’s Health Village, RCCG Camp, Mowe, Ogun State, daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Organisers say the programme aims to ease the financial burden of healthcare for residents who often face difficult choices between basic needs and medical care.

Beneficiaries will access a wide range of free services, including major and minor surgeries, gynaecological procedures, eye surgeries, orthopaedic care, and plastic and burn surgeries. Medical supplies and additional healthcare support will also be provided. For many living with long-term untreated conditions, the outreach offers more than treatment—it presents a chance at improved quality of life.

The mission extends beyond patient care. Healthcare practitioners will receive specialised training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Stop the Bleed, and Advanced Pediatric Life Support. Professionals from Sharing Hope Medical Mission (USA) will also deliver advanced medical and surgical lectures. Organisers note that these skills will help strengthen local healthcare delivery long after the 14-day programme concludes.

Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), representing Ogun East Senatorial District, is supporting the initiative. His involvement has been highlighted as an example of practical assistance that brings specialist care closer to constituents at a time when healthcare costs remain a heavy pressure on many households.

The outreach also marks a milestone for the Gateway Front Foundation as it celebrates its 25th anniversary (GFF@25). Instead of focusing solely on the anniversary, the foundation is using the occasion to expand its humanitarian work. Partners including Sharing Hope Medical Mission (USA), Sharing Hope and Care Foundation and Redeemer’s Health Village have been acknowledged for contributing medical expertise, resources and the venue that make the programme possible.

Organisers describe the collaboration as a combination of philanthropy, professional medical support and institutional partnership aimed at reaching vulnerable residents. For patients who have endured years of pain or limited mobility due to financial constraints, the mission is expected to deliver tangible relief and renewed hope.
