For years now there have been ‘silent’ whispers that celebrated comedian Basketmouth had a child with another lady before his marriage to Elsie — his wife — in November 2010.
The comedian has decided to put the whispers to bed as he opened for the first time about his ‘lovechild’ in a recent interview.
When asked if the rumours were true about him fathering a ‘lovechild’ with another lady , he said, I wouldn’t refer to her as a love child. She’s my child that people didn’t know of, adding that he had the child — a daughter– with his ex-girlfriend a while before his wedding. Its not a comfortable topic to discuss because I wouldn’t want to put anybody under pressure. As long as my family is happy and I’m on the same page with my wife, my siblings, my mum, my pastor and the family of my daughter, that’s all that actually matters. he stated.
