Itage Telifisan Marks 5th Anniversary with Grand Celebration of African Culture

Itage Telifisan is set to celebrate its fifth anniversary with a colourful event aimed at highlighting its contributions to indigenous entertainment and African storytelling.

The anniversary celebration will hold on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Itage TV Studio 2, bringing together stakeholders, entertainers, content creators and lovers of indigenous television programming.

Over the past five years, the platform has established itself as a leading promoter of African culture, with a strong focus on Yoruba-language productions and culturally inspired content.

Through its programming, Itage Telifisan has provided filmmakers, actors, producers and other creative talents with opportunities to showcase their works to wider audiences, contributing significantly to the growth and visibility of indigenous content.

The anniversary event will reflect on the platform’s journey, achievements and future aspirations as it continues its mission of preserving and promoting African heritage through entertainment.

The celebration will also recognise the contributions of sister indigenous channels, including Africa Nolly Yoruba, Africa Nolly Urban, Africa Nolly Epic, Africa Nolly Hausa, Africa Nolly Igbo, Africa Nolly Showcase, Africa Nolly Series and Heritage TV, all of which have played roles in advancing Nigerian and African storytelling.

Powered by Next Level Media Concept, the organisers described the anniversary as an opportunity to appreciate viewers, partners, actors, producers and everyone who has supported the growth of the brand over the years.

The event is expected to feature entertainment, networking, reflections on the platform’s achievements and renewed commitments to taking African stories to a global audience.
