Melody 107.7FM Lagos Appoints Fisayo ‘Perfect’ Ajibola as New General Manager

In a move signaling a new chapter for one of Lagos’s prominent radio stations, Melody 107.7FM has announced the appointment of Mr. Fisayomi Ajibola, popularly known as Perfect, as its new General Manager.

The announcement was made on behalf of the station’s leadership, including Chairman Prophet Adebayo Samuel Ojo, Managing Director Mrs. Folasade Ojo, Board Chairman Mr. Kunle Babarinde, as well as the entire board, management, and staff.

Described internally as “a new dawn,” the leadership at Melody FM hinted at transformative changes under Ajibola’s watch, positioning the station for growth and deeper engagement with its vibrant Lagos audience.

“We are excited to introduce our new General Manager, Mr. Fisayomi Ajibola, popularly known as Perfect. This is a new dawn, and listeners should expect new changes,” the station said in a statement.

Ajibola brings with him a dynamic presence and extensive industry experience that insiders say will redefine the station’s programming and operational strategy.

The station called on the public and its loyal listeners to warmly welcome Ajibola into his new role as he steers Melody 107.7FM into a promising new era.

Olufisayomi Ajibola is a Broadcaster, Journalist, Brand Analyst, Blogger, and Communication Strategist among many of his expertise. He is also a proud farmer.

After both his ordinary national and higher national diploma courses in computer science, he proceeded to the prestigious Nigeria Institute of Journalism, where he studied mass communications with speciality in public relations.

He bagged MSC in broadcast journalism from Lagos State University, school of communications.

He has exceptional proficiency in marketing communications and outstanding writing skills, which have afforded him the opportunity to serve as the general manager of approximately three radio stations across the country.

He is also a columnist for publications such as the Guardian Newspaper, ThePageNewsNG, and Nigeria Today Times, where he writes about consumer insights, agriculture, trends, and other marketing-related topics.”
