Nigerian streamer Peller has expressed frustration with his parents after they attended his white wedding with their respective partners.
Peller tied the knot with his partner in a white wedding ceremony over the weekend, which was attended by family members, friends and well-wishers.
However, the celebration did not go exactly as he had hoped, as his separated parents arrived at the ceremony with their respective partners.
In a video shared on Wednesday, Peller revealed that he had earlier asked his parents to keep their guest lists small, but they allegedly ignored his request.
According to the streamer, his mother brought her boyfriend while his father attended with his girlfriend, which he claimed contributed to the wedding becoming more of a party than he had envisioned.
“I’m tired, I’m tired of all these things. I changed it for them, no be small,” Peller said.
He added, “Because I told them to invite just a few people, but my mummy dey carry her own boyfriend come, my daddy carry his own girlfriend come. All of them just turned my wedding to party.”
Reflecting on his family background, Peller said, “Polygamy is very hard. I’m from a polygamous family.”
The streamer’s comments have since sparked reactions online, with many social media users discussing the dynamics of separated parents and family relationships during major celebrations.
