Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her emotional journey through motherhood and relationships, revealing that she no longer sees marriage in her future but still hopes to have a baby girl someday.
Speaking during a livestream session with TikTok personality Jarvis, the actress reflected on her personal life, her children, and her changing perspective on relationships.
Daniels disclosed that she has not seen her children since last year but expressed optimism that they would reunite soon.
The mother of two said she has emotionally moved away from the idea of getting married again due to personal reasons. Despite this, she admitted that she strongly desires to have a daughter, explaining that raising a girl child offers a unique and deeper experience of motherhood.
According to the actress, having a female child gives mothers a more profound understanding of parenting and emotional connection.
“The last time I saw my children was last year. I know one day, I’ll see them again, very soon. But for some reason, I have checked my mind out of getting married. I’m yet to have a girl child and I must have a girl child. I feel like you’d understand motherhood better when you have a girl child,” she said.
Daniels’ comments come months after reports emerged that she separated from her husband, Ned Nwoko, following a public disagreement in October last year.
