Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday welcomed popular American streamer and internet personality, Kai Cenat, to the Lagos House, Marina.
The visit was disclosed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, via a post shared on X.
According to Gawat, Cenat, who is currently on his second visit to Lagos, paid a courtesy call on the governor, during which he shared his experiences and impressions of the state.
He noted that the globally renowned streamer is in Lagos to follow up on several projects and initiatives aimed at supporting children and young people across the state.
“Kai Cenat is in Lagos to follow up on some projects and initiatives he plans to execute for kids and young people in Lagos State, Nigeria,” Gawat stated.
Cenat is one of the most-followed streamers in the world, with a massive fan base across platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, where his content enjoys wide appeal, particularly among youths.
Details of his engagements and itinerary during the visit were not disclosed by Lagos State Government officials.
His visit comes just weeks after fellow American streamer, IShowSpeed, toured Lagos, attracting large crowds and generating widespread buzz across social media platforms.
