Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has paid a moving tribute to her late colleague and friend, Allwell Ademola, remembering her as a lively, joyful soul who lived every moment with infectious happiness.
In an emotional Instagram post, Shokoya reflected on Ademola’s passing, expressing her belief that the late actress is now “laughing and dancing with the angels.” She described Ademola as a naturally cheerful person who spread warmth, laughter and positivity wherever she went.
According to Shokoya, Ademola’s spirit continues to live on through the many lives she touched, noting that her legacy of joy and kindness remains unforgettable.
“It is well. For the playful and happy soul that Allwell was, I choose to find solace in how cheerful and joyful she lived every moment when she was here,” she wrote. “I am sure that while we gathered yesterday, Allwell was laughing and dancing with the angels in heaven.”
She added that if Ademola could be seen, she would still be teasing everyone, jumping into videos and cracking jokes — a reflection of the vibrant personality she was known for.
“Allwell is presently disturbing God, gisting Him about every moment well spent,” Shokoya continued, adding humorously that her late friend might even be asking for ice cream in heaven.
Shokoya noted that Ademola’s life carried a powerful lesson — to live fully and embrace every moment so deeply that one’s presence continues to be felt even in death.
“Allwell has taught us something so simple yet very important: live every moment,” she said. “When you are gone, you will still be felt so alive.”
Allwell Ademola was laid to rest in Lagos following her death on December 27, 2025, at the age of 49. She reportedly died of a heart attack at her residence and was celebrated for her talent and impactful contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
