Slain Lekki Free trade Zone Boss, Tajudeen Disu to be Buried In Ikoyi today

The slain boss of Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos, western Nigeria, Tajudeen Ajibola Babatunde Disu, will be buried Wednesday in Lagos.

According to burial announcement, Disu, who was shot dead on Monday by rioters, will be buried at the Vaults and Gardens cemetery in Obalende, Ikoyi.

Reception will follow immediately at City Hall, while the 8th Day Fidau Prayers will take place on Wednesday, 21 October at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island.

Disu died from injuries he sustained on Monday when gunmen attacked him during a peace mission to one of the communities in the Free Trade Zone area in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, western Nigeria.

Menawhile, an Ebute-Metta Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday granted the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) leave to remand in custody, 17 suspects held in connection with the killing of Disu.
