Smoke in the Cabin: Delta Flight Carrying Andrew Garfield Makes Emergency Landing

A Delta Air Lines flight carrying Hollywood actors Andrew Garfield and Nick Robinson made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Wednesday after passengers reported a smoky odor in the cabin.

Delta Flight 958 had departed Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) bound for New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) when the issue arose mid-flight. The plane was safely diverted to Albuquerque International Sunport.

A Delta spokesperson confirmed the aircraft landed without incident. “We apologise to our customers on Delta Flight 958 (LAX to JFK) on Sept. 9, which diverted to Albuquerque due to a smoky odour in the aircraft. The aircraft landed uneventfully, and our teams worked to re-accommodate customers as quickly as possible to their final destinations,” the airline said in a statement.

Garfield, best known for his role as Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man films, was traveling with fellow actor Nick Robinson. Other notable passengers included Adults star Owen Thiele, Love Island USA contestant Dylan Wrona, and singer Mark Ambor.

No injuries were reported, and Delta is assisting passengers in reaching their final destinations.
