Nigerian artiste, Solidstar has slammed the organizers of the Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) which held recently on sunday, September 6th in New York.
Solidstar was nominated in one of the categories but was beaten to it by another artiste therefore failing to pick up any award at the ceremony.
He however took to twitter this morning to express his grievances, discrediting the award in the process.
“most of these Nigerian awards are just jokes! especially NEA!,” Solidstar tweeted.
“All these highest famzer gets nominated and highest bidder win awards. I don’t need your nominations to know that I’m making Good music!l” the Baby Jollof singer concluded.
Meanwhile, the award ceremony which was hosted by Ice Prince and Osas Ajibade had some big winners like Yemi Alade, Kiss Daniel, Simi, Praiz, Pasuma amongst others
