Spain doubled their lead in the second half when Pedro Porro capitalised on a clever flick from Dani Olmo before calmly finishing past the French goalkeeper to seal the victory.
The result sends La Roja into the World Cup final, where they will face either England or Argentina, who meet in the second semi-final on Wednesday.
