A coalition of professionals under the banner of the Democratic Front has called on residents of Surulere, Lagos, to back Dr. Alli Sanusi Ayodeji in his bid to represent Surulere Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Ayodeji previously served as Supervisory Councilor for Works and later as Senior Special Assistant on Works, Health, and Special Projects from 2017 to 2021 in Coker-Aguda LCDA. The group described him as a candidate whose career is defined by service, structure, and tangible results—qualities they believe qualify him to serve in the Lagos Assembly.
With more than two decades of experience spanning clinical medicine, hospital administration, and grassroots governance, Ayodeji’s career demonstrates a consistent commitment to solving real community problems. A trained physician with an MBBS from the University of Lagos (2000), he has complemented his medical expertise with an MBA from Babcock University and a Master’s in Health and Global Environment from the University of Salford, UK.
The Democratic Front highlighted his transformative work as Chief Medical Officer at General Hospital Agbowa and later General Hospital Ikorodu, where he improved patient flow systems, strengthened infection control, and implemented accountable procurement processes. Managing teams of over 150 personnel, Ayodeji focused on operational efficiency while maintaining patient-centered care.
The group emphasized that Ayodeji’s proven track record in both healthcare and public administration makes him a compelling choice to represent Surulere Constituency II in the Lagos State Assembly.
