Rosemary Osula, a.k.a, Rosula! Remember her? She is the society lady, who has been courting controversy, from the days of General Sani Abacha and General Jeremiah Useni.
The most poignant of Rosula’s fixation with controversy, was her tumultuous affair with Senator Buruji Kashamu. The affair resulted in a “pregnancy”, and eventual “birth” of a set of twins. Kashamu, excited by the birth of the twins, hosted a lavish party in Ijebu-Igbo, to herald their arrival.
Few months after, the bubble burst, and it was revealed that Rosula had actually sourced the children from different towns. Kashamu was devastated. He descended on Rosula and forced her to vomit all the resources he invested in the pregnancy, including the money she collected for ante-natal. Rosula reclined into her cocoon and relocated to Abuja.
Well, the story now is that Rosula is being fingered as one of the mentors of Wuraola, the new wife of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife.
Rosula, who is supposedly married to a younger man, Atu, has been telling whoever cares to listen that Wuraola is her cousin. She has been one of the most vociferous promoters of the wedding between Oba Ogunwusi and Wuraola. According to Rosula, Wuraola, who she addresses as Itohan is her cousin.
Hiwever, some sources who have re interest of Ooni Ogunwusi and his new wife at heart, have vowed to edge out Rosula from invading the Ile–Ife Palace.
