In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu said Omololuās life and public service reflected a consistent devotion to the preservation of Yoruba cultural heritage, democratic ideals and good governance.
The President also
commended Omololuās principled stance on national issues and his steadfast support for the leadership of Afenifere under its leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
āAs a leader in Afenifere, his principled position on issues and steadfast support for Baba Fasorantiās leadership are particularly noteworthy,ā Tinubu said.
He further acknowledged Omololuās support for him and the Renewed Hope administration, noting that the Afenifere chieftainās commitment to progressive politics and democratic stability had remained unwavering over the years.
Tinubu prayed for long life, wisdom and Godās abiding grace for Omololu as he marks the milestone age of 70, which he described as the Biblical age of three score and ten.
