Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has publicly praised her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, during their son’s 10th birthday celebration held in Abuja.
The football-themed event attracted several Nigerian celebrities and family friends, marking what observers described as a notable moment of reconciliation between the former couple.
In a video from the celebration circulating online, Dikeh openly expressed appreciation to Churchill for his role as a father, thanking him and offering prayers for his life, family and business interests.
“Churchill, you are an amazing father, and I just want to thank you so much. Thank you. I love you with the love of God, and I wish you all the best,” she said.
The actress went further to pray for his family and children, declaring progress, blessings and protection over them, while also wishing prosperity for his business ventures.
The public display comes shortly after Churchill confirmed that he and Dikeh recently reunited with their son after a decade-long separation. According to him, the reconciliation was facilitated by popular cleric, Jerry Eze.
Dikeh had also credited the cleric for helping her embrace forgiveness and inner peace, while Churchill praised the actress for raising their son with dedication and care over the years.
The birthday celebration has since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians applauding the former couple for putting their differences aside in the interest of their child.
