The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Unique Motors, Dr. Ambassador Adesina Saheed Adebiyi, has debunked speculations making the rounds on social media that he is responsible for the pregnancy of Lucy Edet, a former Big Brother Naija Season 5 housemate.
The rumours began after the reality star unveiled her baby bump on Instagram, sparking widespread speculation and online chatter.
In a statement issued by his office, Dr. Adebiyi described the claims as “entirely false, malicious, and without any iota of truth.” He maintained that he has never been romantically involved with Edet, stressing that his association with entertainment personalities stems solely from his automobile business, where he sells exotic cars to high-profile clients, including celebrities.
“Dr. Adebiyi remains happily married and is committed to upholding the values of integrity, family, and professionalism in his private and business dealings,” the statement read.
The Unique Motors boss further expressed dismay at the attempts to link him with the reality star’s pregnancy, warning those spreading the allegations to desist from peddling falsehoods. He also hinted that legal steps may be taken against individuals or platforms bent on defaming his character.
While reaffirming his respect for Edet, Dr. Adebiyi firmly distanced himself from the allegations and urged the public to disregard the rumours in their entirety.
