A Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday ordered the remand of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew, 38, the alleged fake Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), in Kuje Prison.
Justice Mohammed Umar directed that Adeniyi remain in custody pending the hearing and determination of his bail application.
The order followed Adeniyi’s plea of not guilty to an eight-count charge of conspiracy and forgery. Two co-defendants, identified only as Femi and Anu, remain at large.
The case will continue as the court considers the bail application and further proceedings.
