*Rumpus in Church Over Chairmanship Seat 

Elder Gideon Olutola, the party loving son of Pastor (Dr) Gabriel Oladele Olutola, the President and LAWNA territorial Chairman of The Apostolic Church is now entangled in a love triangle. While she keeps the wife at home, his first wife that is much loved by the family members lives outside the matrimonial home.

The lady who is believed to have secured employment at The Apostolic Church Grammar School, Orishigun, Ketu, Lagos, through the link of his father-in-law is said to be neck deep in love with Gideon.

Despite the doctrine and tenets of The Apostolic Church, Gideon, who was once suspended when his father, Pastor Olutola was the Superintendent of Mushin Area of the church is now said to be a full blown adherent of polygyny.

Informed sources claimed that the 46 year old Business Finance Manager with HIGHWAY MANAGERS LIMITED in Lagos is still said to be spreading his love-escapades. Few weeks back, the Federal University of Technology Akure(FUTA) graduate was sited in South Africa, where a source claimed he had gone to have a good time.

Meanwhile, the onetime much disciplined and well organized The Apostolic Church is now allegedly embroiled in a never seen acrimonious succession battle. As Gideon’s father, Pastor Olutola is said to be disengaging from the church leadership seat in April, 2017.

Now, the church Executive Council is said to be divided into two over the choice of the next leader. With the incumbent leading one pack, while one Pastor Ajibade is alleged to be leading the second group. And the opposing sides are not leaving anything to chance in the quest to have their own as the leader. While Ajibade group is jostling behind one Pastor Fakunle, the incumbent and his group are said to narrowed their choice to Pastors: Uyeh, Oguibe or Ibidapo.

Informed source disclosed that of recent, Pastor Olutola had played host to High Chief Eniola Ogundare, the Yeyerise of Ilesa, who is described as the second in command to Owa Obokun Aromolaran. The woman who is popularly called Agbarapo ( too much power) is said to be a front seller of spiritual and occult items. Nonetheless, her alleged visits to Pastor Olutola at odd hours of the night is said  to be causing ripples among residents and workers in the church convention ground.
