Arsenal’s EPL Triumph Sparks Wild Celebration Among Nigerian Celebrities After 22-Year Wait

Nigerian celebrities including Fuji musician Pasuma, actor Kunle Adegbite, comedian Lekan King Kong, Afrobeats artiste Fisayo Ojo and actor Baba Tee have taken to social media to celebrate Arsenal Football Club’s Premier League title victory.

The North London side clinched the 2025/2026 English Premier League title, bringing an end to a 22-year wait for league glory.

Following the historic achievement, several celebrities and football enthusiasts flooded social media with congratulatory messages and celebratory videos.

Popular Fuji star Pasuma, a long-time Arsenal supporter, expressed gratitude over the club’s success.

“After 22 years, we finally clinched the trophy. Alhamdulillahi,” he wrote.

Afrobeats singer Fisayo Ojo also joined the celebrations by sharing videos of himself dancing around his apartment while dressed in an Arsenal jersey.

Actor Kunle Adegbite praised the team for its determination and consistency throughout the season, while comedian Lekan King Kong celebrated the victory with a post that read: “After 22 years, Arsenal are champions of England.”

The victory has continued to trigger reactions from football fans across the globe, especially loyal Arsenal supporters who have waited more than two decades to witness another Premier League triumph.
