In a symbolic defeat to Boko Haram and in line with the assurance by President Goodluck Jonathan, the Nigerian Military has this morning liberated Gwoza, the Headquarters of the terrorists’ caliphate.
The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) announced the recapture of what is regarded as the last frontier of Boko Haram through their twitter handle

The short message read: “Troops this morning captured Gwoza destroying the Headquarters of the Terrorists self styled caliphate. #NeverAgain
“#Gwoza: Several terrorists died while many are captured. Mopping up of entire #Gwoza and her suburbs is ongoing. More details later”.
