Until now, Falana was here and there. He was all over the place, going to bat in the interest of the underprivileged. Falana growled and roared; when need be, he cried and howled in the interest of the downtrodden.
Although he incurred the wrath of the ruling class in the course of his activism, his persistent challenge of constituted authority eventually earned him the respect and fascination of the incumbent president.
President Buhari allegedly fell in love with Falana for his perceived forthrightness and penchant for fighting for the interests of the underprivileged. Falana’s selection also substantiates the notion that the president has decided to be his own man and painstakingly keep to a personal script prepared by him to serve as a guide in making justifiable appointments to his hotly speculated presidential cabinet.
