Cleric Applauds Makinde’s People-Centred Projects, Says Legacy Will Outlive Administration
A prominent cleric, Seyi Makinde, has received high praise from a church leader who described his administration as one built on solid foundations for sustainable development in Oyo State.

Speaking in Ibadan during activities marking the 18th anniversary of a church programme, Pastor Isaiah Alade, District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church Prayer Mountain of Mercy (Ori Oke Aanu), commended the governor’s people-oriented initiatives across key sectors.

According to the cleric, Makinde’s developmental strides are not only visible but impactful, noting that the administration’s transformative projects would endure beyond his tenure.

He particularly lauded the distribution of newly constructed shops at Bodija Market to traders free of charge, describing the gesture as a clear demonstration of leadership committed to economic empowerment and grassroots development.

“The transformative projects by Makinde will outlive his administration,” Alade declared, urging the governor to remain steadfast in delivering dividends of democracy that directly benefit the people.

The cleric also offered prayers for the governor, asking God to grant him greater wisdom to continue steering the affairs of the state with integrity and good governance.

He further called on residents of the state to continually pray for political office holders to ensure the sustainability of people-centred policies and enduring progress.

Other ministers who ministered in prayers and songs at the event included the founder of Ori Oke Aanu, Prophet Moses AladeOlu, Pastor Paul Oyeranmi, Prophet Wumi Jesuyimika, Pastor Soladoye, Lady Evangelist Bose Adeiwa, and the choir of CAC Prayer Mountain of Mercy.
