Award-winning Nigerian superstar Davido has been announced as one of the headline performers for FIFA’s official World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert in Los Angeles, further strengthening his growing global presence.
The concert will also feature American electronic music group Major Lazer, led by renowned producer Diplo.
FIFA confirmed the lineup in a post on Instagram, stating that additional guest performers will be revealed in the coming days.
The Los Angeles event forms part of FIFA’s first-ever synchronized live entertainment series spanning all three 2026 World Cup host countries — the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
According to FIFA, the show will begin with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. PT, while the live broadcast is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT.
The global concert series is designed to connect audiences across the host nations, with simultaneous performances also planned in Mexico City and Toronto.
FIFA added that the event will be streamed worldwide via its official digital platforms, including an exclusive live broadcast on TikTok.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to kick off on June 11, 2026.
