Unconfirmed gist flying around corporate Nigeria has it that Don Jazzy-led Mavin crew may dump Nigeria’s biggest telco operator, MTN for it’s rival company, Glo at the end of their current deal which has only a couple of weeks from now to run.
Sources believe that the Mavins may consider the move given the interest indicated by Glo to sign up the trio of Mavin youngsters, Korede Bello, Díja and Reekado Banks as brand ambassadors.
The mavin camp could not be immediately reached for comments as at the time of publishing this story but sources in the know further assert that Don Jazzy might be considering the move in a bid to support Glo (a wholly Nigerian company) along with the fact that Glo is willing to break the bank for the deal to pull through.
