The ex-Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Saturday said the All Progressives Congress has evidence against President
Goodluck Jonathan over his party’s claim that the Federal Government was secretly  planning to foist an interim government on Nigerians.

But Jonathan had since said it was unconstitutional and seditious for anyone to contemplate an interim government. Fayemi said the allegation made by the national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that his life was being threatened confirmed the desperation on the part of the Jonathan-led team and members of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The former governor said this in Aramoko Ekiti during the 40-day Fidau  for  the late Pa Jejelola Akingbolu and Mrs Raliat Akingbolu.
Tinubu had last week alleged that President Jonathan planned to invite him to be part of a proposed interim government in case elections were not held as rescheduled, just as he raised the alarm that his life was being threatened by  the Federal Government for his support for Major Gen Muhammadu Buhari.

Fayemi said Jonathan could not deny the fact that he invited Tinubu to be part of the planned interim government, saying the APC leader made the allegation in good faith and was not directed at maligning the personality of the President
