Arsenal have admitted they could consider selling young stars Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri if the right opportunity presents itself.

Arsenal CEO Richard Garlick made the revelation during an interview with BBC Sport, stressing that the club is not actively looking to sell either player.

Garlick, however, acknowledged that Arsenal would be willing to consider suitable offers that benefit both the players and the club.

“I can’t stop other clubs from being interested,” Garlick said.

“We are not actively looking at selling those homegrown players, but if the right opportunity came up — right for them and the club — we’d obviously consider that.”

Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri, both 19, have established themselves as regular options for Arsenal’s first team despite their young ages.

The duo are also academy graduates, meaning any transfer fee received for either player would be recorded as pure profit for Arsenal and could help the club maintain its financial balance.

Garlick’s comments are likely to fuel speculation over the futures of the two highly rated youngsters, although Arsenal’s current position remains that they are not actively seeking to sell them.
