Carter Efe’s girlfriend and baby mama, Emmanuella, has broken her silence following the skit maker’s revelation that they had separated more than a year ago, describing his public disclosure as shocking, hurtful and misleading.
On Sunday, Carter Efe took to social media to announce the end of their relationship, claiming it had negatively affected his mental health, finances and creativity. He said the situation left him struggling with content creation and personal stability, adding that being separated from his child was deeply painful.
However, in a strongly worded response, Emmanuella accused the comedian of controlling her life, stifling her ambitions and manipulating her personal relationships.
She alleged that Carter Efe prevented her from working and discouraged her long-standing dream of becoming an actress. According to her, he also blocked her from working in a hospital, accusing her of potentially engaging in inappropriate relationships with doctors.
Emmanuella further claimed that he isolated her by blocking her female friends and keeping her family at a distance, while allegedly threatening to take over her social media platforms.
She said she was particularly shocked by his posts because they had been together just three days earlier.
The mother of one also denied allegations that she was a prostitute, insisting that Carter Efe only provided financial support for their child when she explicitly asked.
In an emotional Instagram post, she wrote:
“Honestly I never knew there would be a day like this, sitting in front of a camera to talk about my private life. Sadly this is my reality. I saw everything Carter posted about us, but the way he posted it was weird because we were literally together three days ago.
“We have a baby together and for you to cater for your child, I have to come to you before you can give me money, even though we aren’t together anymore like you claim.
“You stopped me from working. I’ve always wanted to become an actress, but Carter didn’t want that, so I had to kill that dream. I can’t even work at the hospital because he said I would sleep with doctors there.
“He blocked all my female friends because he knew I would confide in them. He made sure I kept my family away. When I saw his post about me, I was shocked because he called me this morning and told me he was about to post something, calling me a prostitute and saying he would make sure I never post myself again, since he gave me the platform.”
As the online exchange continues to stir reactions, the situation has sparked widespread debate on social media about privacy, co-parenting, and control in celebrity relationships.
