Businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has spoken publicly about his renewed relationship with his ex-wife, actress Tonto Dikeh, expressing gratitude for what he described as her personal growth and maturity following their reconciliation.
In an Instagram post shared on Sunday, Churchill reflected on the peaceful resolution of their long-running marital dispute, thanking God for restoring harmony between them and enabling a fresh start centred on their son, King Andre.
The entrepreneur revealed that he recently received a phone call from King Andre for the first time — an emotional moment he described as deeply touching.
“I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from my son, King Andre, for the first time. Hearing him call me ‘Daddy’ was deeply touching and a reminder that what God cannot do does not exist,” Churchill wrote.
He credited faith for bringing clarity, humility and peace, noting that forgiveness had opened the door to healing and understanding between both parties.
Churchill also praised Dikeh for her role as a mother, acknowledging her growth and the grace with which the situation was resolved. According to him, both parents are now committed to co-parenting their son with love, care and mutual respect.
“The conflict is behind us, and we are now focused on co-parenting with love, care, and a shared commitment to raising our son,” he stated.
Expressing optimism about the future, Churchill added that he looks forward to continued collaboration and peace, trusting God to guide the journey ahead.
“I am grateful to have my son back in my life. Thank you to the amazing mother of my son, Tonto Dikeh, for doing a good job,” he concluded.
The development comes shortly after Tonto Dikeh reflected on their decade-long separation, attributing the restoration of their relationship to divine intervention.
