The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primary election conducted yesterday in Imo State gulped a whopping sum of N7 billion, says Barr Ike C.Ibe, former governorship aspirant in the state.
Reacting on his official facebook page, about the outcome of the election which took place Monday in Owerri, Ibe said that the aspirants spent the staggering amount, amongst themselves in their bids to win the election.
Ibe, who withdrew from the governorship race last month, disclosed that this reckless spending amongst the aspirants was the reason behind his withdrawal from the race.
