The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has passed on at the age of 90.
The revered monarch joined his ancestors in the early hours of Monday, just two days after celebrating his milestone birthday.
Oba Olakulehin was crowned the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland on July 12, 2024, by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and reigned for one year.
His passing marks the end of a brief but significant chapter in the history of Ibadan’s traditional institution.
