London-based Film producer and actor premieres ‘Silent Blue Light’ in Lagos

All is set for the Lagos premiere of Silent Blue Light, a new movie from the stables of Nigerian British film producer and actor, Tosin Abiola, popularly known as omo_brish.

Silent Blue Light, a powerful film produced by BRIISSH Entertainment Studios, explores emotional neglect, online grooming, and the hidden struggles being by faced many young people in today’s digital world.

According to a statement by the executive producer, Tosin Abiola, the premiere and watch party for ‘Silent Blue Light’ will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, in Lagos on Saturday, August 1, by 2pm.

She said the event will be an exclusive afternoon of storytelling, celebration, and impact-driven, given the themes of the movie.

She said: “I am honoured to invite you to an exclusive watch party for SILENT BLUE LIGHT, a powerful film exploring emotional neglect, online grooming, and the hidden struggles many young people face.

“This private screening is curated for a select group of stakeholders across education, social care, government ministries and policy makers, creating a space for thoughtful engagement on safeguarding the children and early intervention.

“The story is aimed at reshaping values within our homes, with an opportunity to support its reach into communities across Nigeria and beyond.

According to Abiola, “a short facilitated discussion will follow the screening,” with the aim of throwing more light to the thematic elements of the movie and providing solutions for some of the issues raised in the theatrical experiences of the characters.

The film, directed by Best Okoduwa features top nollywood actors such as Yemi Solade, Tosin Abiola, Bimbo Thomas, Bimbo Akisanya, Angel Unigwe, Annabel Apara, Emmanuel nse, Osereme Inegbenebor and Tobi Makinde.
