The funeral service (Janaza) for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, the two close associates and trainers of boxing champion Anthony Joshua, is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The bodies of Ghami and Ayodele, affectionately known as “Latz,” were repatriated to the United Kingdom following the fatal road accident in Nigeria. The service will commence at 10:00 AM at the London Central Mosque on Park Road.
A statement shared by Boxing King Media requested prayers for the families: “Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones as they prepare to lay their loved ones to rest.”

A Lexus SUV carrying Anthony Joshua and his team reportedly collided with a stationary truck. Tragically, Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, and personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, were pronounced dead at the scene. Anthony Joshua himself was involved in the crash but managed to escape with only minor injuries.
The London funeral will allow the UK-based boxing community and friends to pay their final respects to the two men who were integral parts of the AJ team.
