The chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts and Senatorial Candidate of APC for Lagos West, Hon. Solomon Adeola has said that the rash of endorsements of his candidature by various groups and institutions in addition foreshadowing his imminent victory places a huge responsibility on his shoulder to deliver for his constituents.
Speaking during his endorsement by Executive and members of the Lagos State Associations of Bureau D’ Change, Hon. Adeola while he is happy about the genuine endorsements based on his track records and qualifications for the job, he see it as a huge responsibility as he cannot afford to disappoint any of the stakeholders that had expressed implicit confidence in him to represent the largest senatorial district in Nigeria.
Among the groups and stakeholders that had so far endorsed Hon. Adeola are the Hausas/ North Central Indigenes in Lagos, Lagos West Traditional Rulers, Computer and Allied Products Dealers Association of Nigeria (CAPDAN) of Computer Village, Lagos State Market Men and Women Association, a Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN), National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), LASU chapter, Ijegun Elite Forum, numerous Youths Groups and Baales, Nollywood artistes like ,Ogogo, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Fadeyi Oloro, Foluke Daramola and Moji Olaiya among others too numerous to mention.
Hon Adeola who said the endorsements which shows implicit confidence on his ability to represent the over 13 million constituent places additional responsibility to perform adding that with God and the understanding of the people Lagos West will have an effective representation at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly.
He commended members of the Lagos State Bureau D’ Change Association of Nigeria for identifying with his aspiration and the need for change in the way we have been govern for the last 16 years adding that they play a vital role in the economy of the country.
Earlier on the chairman of the association Alhaji Danladi Idris said they were in Hon. Adeola office to officially express support for him for his record of representation in Alimosho where he presently represent at the House of Representatives and the need to change the government for Nigeria to move forward.
He said they are going to tell their people to go out and vote for APC as the party represents a party that can change the society for good.
