Nollywood actress Seilat Adeyemo has announced the death of her father, expressing deep sorrow over the loss.
The actress shared the news in an emotional post on her Instagram page, revealing that her father had battled hard before passing on.
“My dad fought so hard, but God loved him more and called him home to rest,” she wrote.
Adeyemo, known for her role in the movie Damifunre, described the experience as devastating, noting that the pain of losing a parent is overwhelming.
“I never imagined I would feel this shattered and broken. Losing a parent is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone,” she added.
The grieving actress also appealed to fans, friends, and well-wishers for understanding, explaining that she is currently not in the emotional state to respond to messages.
“I see all your calls and messages, but I’m not in the right state of mind to respond right now. I will get back when I can. Thank you for all the love,” she said.
Reflecting further on her loss, she wrote: “The pain runs so deep… losing the one God used to create you.”
