On the 14th of February this year famous Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade threw the doors of her new event centre open with a launching party which had several guests in attendance.
However there have been reports that the event center “Double Doors” has been destroyed by a heavy rainstorm. The Net ng reported that they got conflicting reports on visiting the event centre which is located at Mobolaji Bank Anthony way Ikeja. While an eye witness revealed that it was a torrential rain tour down the place, one of the workers who was seen on the location said they brought down the place themselves as it was small and they wanted to expand. He could not however give any information on when the renovation would be complete.
Also, there was LASAA (Lagos State Advertising and Signage Agency) sticker which read, “Remove this sign”, on the signboard of the event centre.
