Leonid Radvinsky, the Ukrainian-born tech entrepreneur and owner of OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 following a prolonged battle with cancer.

According to Forbes, a company spokesperson confirmed that Radvinsky passed away peacefully on Monday after years of illness.

Radvinsky acquired OnlyFans in 2018 and played a pivotal role in transforming the platform into a global digital powerhouse. Under his leadership, the subscription-based service experienced explosive growth, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, becoming a major player in the creator economy.

By 2024, OnlyFans had generated $1.4 billion in revenue, with users spending a record $7.2 billion on the platform. The surge in growth propelled Radvinsky into billionaire status in 2021.

At the time of his death, his net worth was estimated at $4.7 billion, ranking him among the world’s wealthiest individuals. Reports also indicate that he paid himself approximately $1.8 billion in dividends through early 2025.

Despite his immense wealth and influence, Radvinsky maintained a notably low public profile, rarely granting interviews. His early career, however, drew controversy due to his involvement in websites that directed users to adult content, a model that reportedly generated revenue through user traffic.

Before his passing, Radvinsky was said to be in discussions to sell OnlyFans in a deal valued at up to $8 billion.

His death marks the end of an era for one of the most influential—and controversial—figures in the digital content industry.
