Nigerian dancer and content creator Poco Lee has reportedly been released from custody in the United Kingdom after the woman who filed a case against him allegedly withdrew the complaint, social media influencer Peller has claimed.

Speaking during a recent livestream, Peller responded to questions about Poco Lee’s status, stating that the dancer is now free.

“Yes o guys, Poco Lee is out. They talk say that girl that sue Poco Lee say the girl e run away from the case, say e leave the case. God go bless the girl, na God go bless am, is a good person,” Peller said.

He further asserted that the withdrawal of the case by the complainant prompted the UK lawyer to secure Poco Lee’s release.

“The girl that make Poco Lee go to prison, the girl comot the case, UK lawyer con leave Poco Lee,” he added.

Poco Lee had earlier been reported to be on remand in a UK prison, with a plea hearing scheduled for September. The detention followed allegations of sexual offences levelled against the popular dancer.

However, Peller’s claims that the complainant has withdrawn the case and that this directly led to Poco Lee’s release have not been independently verified by UK court officials or prosecution authorities at the time of this report.
